Conservatory Design

A conservatory is a great solution to create extra living space, increase the footprint of your home and add value. It's also a great place to bring the outside in and enjoy your garden all year round, whatever the weather.

NORTH, SOUTH, EAST or WEST
Careful consideration must be given to controlling the climate inside a conservatory to ensure that the room can be comfortably used throughout all the seasons. The general aspect of the structure will determine the type of roof glazing that will help retain valuable heat in the winter months as well as controlling the effects of direct sunlight during those long hot summer days.

ROOF GLAZING OPTIONS
There are two main choices for the roof glazing of a conservatory, polycarbonate or glass. Polycarbonate has definite cost advantages over glass; it is available in several tints and a range of special colours but with a limited specification. A glass roof is more expensive but offers high insulation and sound benefits along with a greater choice of specification that includes more advanced solar control properties and self cleaning surfaces.
When combined with specialist vertical glazing products a conservatory with a glass roof will provide optimum performance all year round.
