"Before deciding to replace any of our windows with PVC-U I sought advice from friends and others. In almost all cases whilst they were fairly happy with the installation the experience was somewhat traumatic.
The main concerns were the damage which had occurred when removing the old windows where it was necessary to replace rendering and plaster work around the frames and this had been done in a rather amateurish way.
